John Hunt

Management and website advisor

I have spent my whole career in the NHS, mainly working in a variety of senior management positions (including a period as Chief Executive of Harefield Hospital NHS Trust). I am a Companion and Fellow of the Institute of Healthcare Management and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

In recent years my focus has been on leadership and management development, and I trained as a coach in 2006. Since retiring from paid work, I write for the Faculty of Medical Leadership and Management on leadership issues and have developed and maintain a website devoted to sharing high quality free leadership and management resources with links to about 1,000 websites - www.leadershiponline.co.uk.

This has meant that I have developed my interest in computing and technology. I am also very interested in learning more about developments in healthcare, as well as new or alternative approaches to the prevention and treatment of illness, and the promotion of good health. So I am very pleased to be able to offer assistance to Living Well Devon in any way that may be helpful.
